GlitchBall

Glitchball is Soccer, but the ball kills you. Players must deflect the ball using a shield and get it into the opposing team's goal to score.

Released on Xbox One and PC (Steam, Itch.io, and Microsoft Store) in April 2018!

Glitchball is a multiplayer couch competitive party game. Up to 4 players can face off against each other, score goals, and win the match.

Each player has a shield to defend themselves and deflect the ball into the goal or other players.

Players can pick up a variety of power-ups to influence the game in different ways. Some spawn extra balls, adding chaos into the game. Others freeze players on the opposing team, giving the player a small advantage for a short time.

The game ends when the score limit is reached, or the match timer reaches 0. The team with the most goals wins the match.

On this project, my primary roles were Gameplay and UI Engineering. I also assisted in 2D sprite creation and animation to ease some of the burden on the art team.
