recTANGLE is a minimalist platformer with simple controls and finely tuned movement. You are a square making your way through the TANGLE to the city at the center. Along your way, you will encounter a diverse landscape of rectangles with a variety of personalities.

Levels consist of rectangular platforms with varying behaviors associated with them denoted by their color. The player must traverse these platforms using skill or puzzle solving to reach the exit at the end. As the player progresses, the levels introduce new platforms and puzzles into the existing set. This helps to keep the player invested in the game until the final level where all of the various behaviors are used.
